Plan Your Layout with the Free Kitchen Planner
Start with the dimensions of your kitchen and choose a layout such as straight, L-shaped, U-shaped or galley. Add appliances and cabinets, then drag or rotate them to explore different arrangements in a top-down view.
The planner is a manual 2D sketching tool. You control the dimensions and placement; it does not generate AI suggestions, 3D renders or construction drawings. Check appliance sizes, clearances and the room measurements before relying on a layout.

Try a small practice layout
Learn the save, load and rotation controls with a 12 × 10 foot L-shaped room and one sink rotated 90°. This is a practice file, not a finished kitchen arrangement.
- Download the editable practice file and open the free planner.
- In Save & Export, choose Load to open the JSON file. Loading replaces the current sketch, so save any layout you want to keep first.
- Select the sink, move it and try the rotation controls. Replace the practice dimensions with your own measurements before planning your room.
- Choose Save to keep an editable JSON copy. Export as PNG saves a picture for discussion; the picture cannot be loaded back as an editable layout.
We saved, cleared and reloaded this file during the product check; its dimensions and sink position were preserved. Before using your own sketch for a renovation, check appliance sizes, door swings and working clearances separately.
